All jewellery is designed, laser cut and made by me, Hannah Lago in Manchester. By purchasing a Tea Party at the Zoo product you are supporting a small craft business, where items have been handmade in the UK.
Jewellery Care
The animal motifs featured in my jewellery are made from Acrylic Perspex, and occasionally Plywood. Both are great materials to use for costume jewellery as they are very lightweight. This enables me to be adventurous with the scale of my pieces, whilst still making them more comfortable to wear.
The Perspex can be wiped clean of stains or marks by using a make up/anti backterial wipe. Please take care of your jewellery, Perspex is durable but can still shatter if dropped or crushed.
The fishhooks featured on my earrings are nickel and lead free. I use silver plated chains, fishhooks and pins.
All combs are made from 5mm Acrylic Perspex. They are waterproof and can be used to comb wet or dry hair! The thicker Perspex allows the comb to untangle any knots!
Customization
We all like to wear our jewellery differently, so if you have a preference of chain length for necklaces or bracelets, please get in touch and state which length you require and I can accommodate this.
If you would like one of my animals in a different colour of Perspex, please get in touch as this can be arranged at an additional charge.
Shipping and Postage
Orders will be processed as soon as possible and should arrive 2-3 days. All orders are posted standard First Class via Royal Mail.
If you would like Special Delivery at an additional charge please contact me and I can arrange this for you.
All jewellery and combs are presented in a recycled craft box, bearing the Tea Party at the Zoo logo. The boxes are wrapped with tissue paper and ribbon, making them ideal to post as a gift.
